Once every two months the last great race on Earth is held. Mushers, and dogs alike come from everywhere in the world to enter, and try to win the award that so many have dreamed of ever sense they we're little kids and pups playing in the snow, but sadly only the best of the best even have a chance of winning. All the dogs that enter are champions, and all of the mushers, well lets just say it takes a person who has had years of experience to even get this far. So in the frozen land of ice, blood, sweat, and tears how will you survive? Will you be a wild wolf, and watch the civilization of man from a distance? or will you be a stray looking upon the humans for protection? or will you even dare to live under the strict hand of humans as a sled dog? Either way the road you choose will be a hard one to fallow.
Rules You can find everything you need to know about Snow Haven hear, meaning you must read the rules before joining! If you don't, I do believe it will be quite easy to tell.
Midnight Trails House This is Stacey's home. Here you will find everything you need to run a functioning house, a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, the works. Her house is a nice cottagey wooden home. It is two stories tall. Livingroom/Kitchen/Bath on the first level and Bedroom/Guest Bed/Bath/Library. Yes a Library. It's a Computer room/Library. Stacey has quite the selection of books there.

Kennels (1 sub-board) Stacey puts the dogs in here at night. Each dog has their own special kennel with a Nameplate on the door and a lock. She also keeps the dog's Harness in the kennels so it can't be stolen. The kennels are shut and locked all the time unless Stacey is out there with the dogs and they are out of their cages. This is also where you can find the fenced in backyard. Tall wooden Fencing keeps dogs from getting in and out of the Backyard. The kennels sit on the far left corner of the yard and Stacey will sit on the porch with a book while watching her dogs play about.
The Barn The barn has two stalls, one for the sled and an empty one for the dogs. There is also a tack room holding the dog harness and such. The rest of it is open and one corner is dedicated to hay as is the hay loft. Stacey also keeps the sled and lines in the barn near the hay. When Stacey isn't around the barn is locked so no one can get the dog or their harness or even the Sled. But this is a nice place for Dogs to hang out on the hay bails, and chat with each other.

Winding Trail This trail begins in the woods behind Stacey's land and it runs in a circle covering a mile full loop but there is a fork and if you take a left at the fork you'll be headed for the Town trail. This is where Stacey'll take her dogs for a run and She'll also ride Odyssey along these trails. There is one part that is Dangerous about it. There is a turn. A sharp one that lines a rocky ledge. Stacey rarely goes to this at a run unless she is with a team that knows this trail very VERY well.

Shenandoah Home (2 sub-boards) A fancy house stands tall, at 2 stories. Her parents were rich mushers, so, they left her this when they passed on. The house is home to the Shenandoah Kennels team, sheltering Larka and the team. Its kinda its own world in there. Unlike the outside, its warm. And plus, it has a working kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bed rooms. The house is old-style, made of brick though, so its not THAt old, though most say it needs a style update.
Outside (1 sub-board) Two large,enclosed areas. The front yard, and the back yard. Yes, they are enclosed with a chain link fence. The only exit is at the front yard, the gate,which is usually locked and Larka has the key to open it. The enclosed areas are HUGE, or at least the back yard , with a peice of the forest enclosed within it. Along the side inside the enclosed area are the kennels-large enough spaces with big dog-houses and bowls for food and water in each. At a corner, is a large barn where Larka puts the sled equipment. Though the dogs hang around here too. Beyond the fence, is a forest where wolves roam. Moderators: Snow Angel, Admin Account
'Le Practice Trails A long path down a large forest, pretty basic. Though, until about 25 minutes there a fork in the road. Three paths. The right, is one that leads to another part of the forest, a more safer, and more prefered path than the others. The left, isn't dangerous but leads to a small area where Larka takes the dogs to play. Theres a frozen lake, with ice that seems like if it cannot break. More on, is another path that leads to the town. Back to the fork. The last, the center path leads to the mountains, where the narrowed paths and tricky turns are. Larka only takes the dogs here rarely. Why? One mistake and you fall, fall, fall down the cliffs however, if you make it through there, it leads to the town as well. Happy Trails Kennels
Martin's House This is where Martin can come to get away from all the bustle outside. He allows his own adult dogs inside but no puppies are allowed. This is where he relaxes and meets with the mushers to figure out what exactly they are looking for. Also this is where all the bedrooms are of course and where anyone would stay if Martin had company over such as his daughter.

Kennels This is where Martin keeps the puppies. He has them all assigned to kennels in groups. They have a door to the inside half of their own kennels and the other half is outside. Of course, they are contained in cages, this is what a kennel is, so they can't cause mischief with each other. Also here you will find his backyard. a big area with one tree growing in the middle. The outside of this is covered with fencing taller than Martin so none of the puppies can get out. It also goes into the ground about 3' to prevent digging. It's wire fencing. If you're in here, you're not getting out unless you're let out.

Practice Trail This is a simple trail that Martin takes puppies ready out on, with a few of his own team of course. This is to train the pups while being on an actual trail. Here you will come to a fork. If you take the right side you will head out onto a trail Martin uses to get his own team ready for races, such as the Iditarod. Otherwise it's a simple and short little trail very good for puppies to be out on.

The Practice Trails
Icy Trail This tail is almost always covered in ice accept for the summer when it melts, and only a thin blanket of snow coveres the ground, but the only bad part is that it runs over a lake, so you can either risk falling though the ice in summer, or wait till winter, and try to make it across without losing your team.

Wolf Track Trail This tail is by far the easiest of them all, sense it's practically straight in tell the end, the only problem is that it's so long that it'd take atleast two day's to reach the end, the entire time you'd be camping out, you'd have to watch for wolves sense they've been spotted around here a lot, and the trail it's self runs right by their territory.

Curvy Trail This tail is for less experienced mushers, and teams, the only hard part about it is the tight turns, and sharp corners, but don't let it worry you, as long as you keep your team under control it should be a breeze.

Bank This is where humans can set up their bank account, so that they know what they've bought, and how much money they have left.

Doggy Hair Care Doggy Hair Care is a Dog Salon on the outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska. Dogs come here to be groomed before the big race, or just to be pampered!
Pet's Palace This is a large pet store where you can come and buy food, water, toys, or anything else you want for your dogs, including collors, leashes, and etc...
The Park This park used to be the best place in town, but after the years passed, it grew old, and most people even forgot it was here, but still musher's tend to bring there dogs here for a day in the park, even if everythings not up to date.

Coffee Shop A Small, but Airy Coffee Shop in the middle of the town, the perfect place for a date.
Junkyard This place used to be a nice hotel in the early days, but after people stop coming the place shut down, and was destroyed, now the only thing left is a pile of junk the street dogs call home.

The Butchers This is where both humans, and strays alike come to find food, the butcher who lives here constantly throws out old rotten meat for the strays, and humans come here to buy food for themselves, and their dogs.

Dog Pound Most dogs don't wander around here for fear of being caught, and taken to the pound where mushers can come and looked for any potentional sled dogs.

Wolf Pack Lands
Druid Wolf Pack Lands The land here is mainly barren, although a small forest lies to the east, it's not at all alive, being covered in tall, dead tree's it acts as a border for any other wolves, or dogs. The over all appearence here is one most find scary, and docile. The ground is hard, and covered in rocks, and the only water source is a small creek flowing into the area from the Lunar Wolf Pack Lands. ------------------------------------ This pack has been known to hunt, and even kill dogs that wonder into their territory, they live their life to bring hell to this world, and the only thing they care about is bringing pain to others outside their pack.
Lunar Wolf Pack Lands The land around here is covered in a thick green forest, even though around the dens there is a grassy clearling. Off to the west lies a large pond, or lake that has many stream flowing out of it, one that so happens to led right through the Druid Pack Lands. ------------------------------------- This pack of wolves tends to keep to themselves not really caring much about what happens outside of their world. They sleep, live, and eat without a true meaning in the world, although rumors have been spread that their planing an attack on the sled teams.

Meeting Grounds
Canines Meet This is a place where sled dogs, strays, and even wolves can come and have a meeting to discuss things goining on in the world.

Musher's Lands A nice, snow covered valley where Mushers from all teams come to talk with other mushers, and discuss things they feel might be wrong, or need changing in the world.

Breeding Canyon This is the ONLY place in Snow Haven that breeding may take place. But remember, put XXX in the title if it is graphic! I don't want any complaints about this site because somebody forgot to say it was graphic, and some 8 year old gets on, reads it, and sues me! Other Lands
Battle Ridge This is where dogs may come to fight other dogs for anything, weather it be rank or over a mate. It is a deep Canyon, where it is dry and warm, not a speck of water to be found. STAFF WILL DECIDE WHO WINS AFTER A COUPLE POSTS!

The Big Race
The Iditarod On the last day of every two months, teams with all 12 dogs will come here and compete for money, and trophy prizes. The winner is randomly drawn from a hat. If you think that is unfair and know of another way we should do it, PM me!
